THE EASYCARE ADAPTER
DESIGN
This is the Easycare Adapter, designed by farriers Shawn Melton and Christian McCormick. The concept is to be able to treat, adapt, and overcome different ailments of the equine foot with one system.
INSPIRATION
After years of fabricating different shoes, devices, and packages to help horses be more comfortable, heal, perform, and live, The Adapter was created to offer adjustment throughout the shoeing cycle.
THE BASE
The base has a steel core surrounded by polyurethane w/ external cuff for indirect glue or the option to nail traditionally. After applying a bottom attachment can be selected and attached with a flathead screw driver.
ATTACHMENTS
The attachment options are a Reverse Shoe, Rocker, Omnidirectional Leverage Reduction, and Extended Heel Support. Each attachment can be attached with a flathead screwdriver to the base of the Adapter.
